Dr. Gary Oliver has known about LeTourneau for quite a while. It always pleased him that Christians could become not only pastors and ministers but also useful members of society.

1. Do not run; the snake is faster than you are.

2. Lie flat on the ground. Put your arms tight against your sides, your legs tight against one another.

3. Tuck your chin in.

4. The snake will come and begin to nudge and climb over your body.

5. Do not panic.

6. After the snake has examined you, it will begin to swallow you from the feet end. Permit the snake to swallow your feet and ankles. Do not panic.

7. The snake will begin to suck your legs into its body. You must remain perfectly still; this will take a long time.

8. When the snake has reached your knees, slowly and with as little movement as possible reach down, take your knife, and very gently slide it into the side of the snake's mouth between the edge of its mouth and your leg and then rip upwards suddenly, severing the snake's head.

9. Be sure you have your knife.

10. Be sure your knife is sharp.

There may not be any physical snakes threatening our lives, there are spiritual threats. I bet he's going to parallel the knife with the Bible. I'd bet ten dollars on it. Any takers? Let's see...

Wow. He didn't. Either that or I just didn't catch it because of the recording. That's very possible.

We were created for relationships. Man was created for God. Woman was created for man. Relationships are the most important things we have. But we often hide that, and devalue it. In times of disaster, however, the importance of our relationships is emphasized.

The quality of your relationships will determine the ultimate value of your life. Over time, your ability to cultivate those relationships will determine your success. Business consists of "networking". IQ determines 20% of your success in business. "EQ" (your ability to get along with people) determines 80%.

Relationships are important.
