Well. Not much to address from last night, is there? I will, instead, talk about the dream I had last night.

I don't remember all the particulars, which is normal, I suppose. And I'm not terribly sure about the order. I do remember one point where I was in Venice, or some such city. And there were underground portions of the city; upscale restaurants, and things like that. Some of the channels went underwater, as well. Sort of like a subway system, I guess. You could open up manholes and see the channels, or sometimes the inside of restaurants. We (I and someone else whom I don't remember) squeezed lemon juice into the water. I don't remember why.

Then, somehow, I was working for some pirates. There was a little yacht-type-thing that could be rolled out of the back of the ship, and was attached to the ship by a rope. To rotate the ship for sharp turns (or pull it, in some instances), I would row the boat at whatever angle necessary to effect the correct changes in the boat. We were 'captured' by another pirate ship, who spared us for some unknown reason - the subtext being that he was going to use us somehow, but only I and my friend (maybe the same person from Venice, maybe not) caught on to that part.

There was probably more, but I've forgotten.

It would seem whatever creative juices enabled me to write pages at a time are ebbing. Interesting. I wonder how much this set of thoughts was set in motion by my female friend's visit. I don't think I want to think about it. Not right now, anyway. Instead, I will….do something else. I'm not sure what. Something else, though. And, I think I will start tonight's entry at a semi-reasonable hour, since it seems my sleep schedule is starting to normalize itself. Which, I suppose, is a good thing.
